I just love making things out of metal. Cutting steel with a torch or plasma, welding it together, bending, beating, grinding, painting....you can create so much with the right tools, some imagination and a bit of skill.

I am a Millwright by trade.

   Hmmm, "What's a Millwright?" you ask.

Well, in a nutshell, millwrights install and maintain industrial machinery. We are a specialty craft who work on places like steel mills, airports, water treatment plants, power plants, material handling companies (UPS, Fed X, USPS), car plants, wind turbines, & food manufacturing plants, to name a few.

     I had 32 active years of experience in light and heavy machinery installation, metal fabrication, cutting & welding.  
Now I am retired, SO
           I have time to make [fun] things out of metal (and some other materials I am playing with), and am excited to share my  projects with you.
